PG Government changed!
Unbelievable! This is my first time voting, and history created, lol. Glad that i'm witnessing it happening after almost 40 yrs since 1969 when Gerakan (when it was still opposition) took over Penang under Tun Lim Chong Yew who did a good job. Voting window closed at 5pm, and i started to hear unofficial news that many DUN in Penang were won by oppositions at 7+pm. PG Chief Minister Dr Koh Tsu Koon was defeated, few shortlisted upcoming Chief Minister Teng Chang Yeow, Chia Kuan Thye, Teng Hock Nam all got defeated...been sitting in front of the TV catching up the news since 9+pm til after midnight. The first time feeling excited bout the result, as i was still very ignorant bout all these things 5 yrs back when i wasn't qualified for the election.
It was like, Oh My God! they really sapu all? no doubt after seeing the crowd of supporters to Han Chiang School field for the opposition's ceramah by Anwar, Lim Keat Seang, Lim Guan Yin, etc, it really tells that they had gained many supporters, some said 30K, some said 50K ppl attended and RM123,000 was collected on that night itself from the crowd. But, nobody expects it to be almost a total victory. Penang has overnight become one of the hottest topic of all. SMS'es were shooting around discussing bout the topic throughout the night, even ppl far from KL, JB asking bout situation in Penang. lol...even SG also got more updated news than i did hor...? :P
I didn't really believe my ears until the press & media interviewing session with DAP in Red Rock Hotel (haha i can see it's in the seminar room that we used to have our BP) shown on TV. Overnight, big wave created, government changed. They had conquered 5 states including the unexpected one - Selangor... Bukit Bintang is now under DAP. lol
Now that people's voice is heard, decision made, let's hope for the best to happen. A better community, a better country! Malaysia Boleehh!

6 of us went to Vietnam and schdule to come back on 8th March, but due to the election date, all of us changed our ticket to 7th March juz to cast our vote! All of us voted for opposition, frankly 2 from Pg!! hehehe..... Now u know how serious the wind of change blow rite? Hidup DAP, hidup PKR! Risau PAS..... hahaha.... Salem
