toilet talk II

Ok, so let me reveal the answer to the purpose of the "music" button since many ppl come asked me and i had to answer one by one, yet some havent answered, i.e. bk chu. ~Get well soon bk :)

As i entered the restroom, i gave it a try by pressing the button, i was wondering in my mind if it's going to be a luxury for the people to listen to music while they're doing their "biz"?? oh well, it came out flushing sound (which is already stated there) and yet so loud, then i became kelam kabut looking for a STOP button coz it was so loud, and i didn't know the purpose, wahhahah, like sampat ppl inside now, so i tried each and every other buttons that are available to try to STOP the loud flushing sound (coz i was afraid other surprise thing would come up then...) but to no avail...it continued to "fluuusssssshhhhhh....fluuuusssshhhhh......" so i thought maybe after i walk out, it would stop (since there is this sensor right beside)...well, after a while more, the sound stopped. i had a laugh for myself inside by not knowing what's going on. then i walked to kiyoshi and here is the conversation and the findings i had. You'll be amazed how Japanese think and invent things. They're far ahead.

me: Kiyo, there's a music button, what's the purpose? (followed by all my stories inside...bla bla bla....)

Kiyo: There was a study before on men's and women's toilets, whereby the result shown was the water volume used in the women's toilet was higher than the men's by 3 times.

me: oh? why?

Kiyo: coz some women feel embarrassing when they do their "biz" and come out with the loud noise ("bleekkk blaakk phisishhh" or watever la ya...) so they normally flush once, then release quickly...sometimes they even flush 3-4 times in one use. so it's not right to waste water like this, so they come up with the flushing sound button to save water :)

me: OOooooOOOooo, then why not they come up with nice music instead so ppl can enjoy at the same time?

Kiyo: well, if so, then ppl from outside or nextdoor will intend to listen to the music right? so it doesnt serve the purpose. it has to be some noisy sound.

me: finally...........now i know, no wonder sometimes while waiting outside, after hearing flushing sound still the person doesnt want to come out! ggggrrrrr!!
