Golden Sands Beach



I had my first jet ski ride today in Golden Sands. :) Thanks for the ride, that was fun. 3pm, snake show - Black Mamba & King Cobra.
Visited tweet's house for the first time after she moved to Batu Ferringghi. Went home and had 2 sunny-side up eggs + rice to fill up my stomach. Went out to meet Win for the first time since i came back from the States...it has been 2 months now. Picked her up from just perming her hair that looks like lion king or the CNY "bu lang sai". Is that something i may consider to do? perming hair?! ummm...suggestion? Anyways, Win, tweet and me gathered @ Gurney Place, updating each others with so much recent life. It was a nice meeting with old friends. :)

My Currypuff =)

It's currypuff time! suddenly thought of currypuff yesterday and there...i started my currypuff project right after work...it took me almost 4 hours to complete everything, from buying necessary ingrediants, to boiling, to chopping, to blending, to preparing filling, to preparing the "skin", to deep frying them. of coz including time consulting my sifu ah ma. show u my currypuff making process... 1. Boil the sweet potatoes & potatoes 2. Prepare the rempah 3. Knead the sweet potatoes, mix with flour as preparation for the "skin" 4. Potatoes + rempah = The Filling 5. The "skin" & the filling, ready to be wrapped 6. me in action 7. self-made currypuffs always have FULL fillings 8. w my sifu beside and another helping hand 9. ready to be in the wok 10. Never had i ever expected that 090909 would be the last day my dad stayed with us at home. We walked him the last journey that very morning, passed by our old house aka his office and sent him off for cremation. Every steps on the street holding onto his hearse were the heaviest footsteps ever for me to complete that journey. It was certainly a loss to our family but on the bright side, dad did not suffer that long, he did not want to bring trouble to us i guess as he was supposed to start kidney dialysis the following week, as we went to learn about dialysis in the hospital that very afternoon when my late father passed on in the evening. i can still feel the warmth of his body when i touched him that time but it became colder and colder. i can see he had what bro last bought him in his mouth, his favourite food - mamak rice. To make myself feel better, at least i spent the last few days for hours each with him sitting by his bed talking, joking, fetching water, medicine, food, changi...
