In Year 2008, I...
...visited Taiwan and met some really nice people, also seen how well can an economic class passenger be given a bottle of champagne when the cabin crew really likes u; i've learnt that rules are just set by human, either to follow or otherwise
...had spent almost 2 months day n night creating a love memory lane musical photo album, and finally made it n delivered on time; i've learnt that the love was unconditional
...welcomed grandparents moving in and staying with us, spending time with old people >80 everyday lighten up my life; so i've my everyday slot to sit/read/sing/chat with grandpa now
...experienced the most heartbroken moment of my life, yet have to accept the fact that it was happening on me so cruel and had to pick up the shattered pieces all by myself; so i've grown stronger, much stronger, and i realised that i wouldn't have live if i had a weaker heart
...stepped onto the land of United States & Costa Rica for the 2nd time, but this time was with a few more people and along the trip, friends at different locations offered me the best hospitality ever; so i've learnt that friends are important & there is no boundary across the ocean. It was a total eye opener trip for me as i made my little self appearing at those big named city, i.e. Los Angeles Universal Studio, Arizona Red Rock & to meet the cowboys at the cactus city, etc
...enjoyed my first ColdStone icecream by myself at the arrival hall @ Phoenix Airport while waiting for andrew to come out as he always needs to go through the special investigation as he arrives US, be it the 1st time or the n time; so i've learnt that we're free to create anything intersting in our lives out of times that may sound boring, i.e. waiting at the hall :P
...experienced the hottest summer in Arizona; so i started to believe munwai that it's almost impossible to go on a tour at the grand canyon during that time, and to think that weather in malaysia is not so "hot". it was crazy!
...took company's private jet @ the private airport from AZ-FM, it carries only its own company's employees several schedules daily among the few busiest Intel sites; I was amazed by how established and organised this company is, and how fortunate i was to have the chance to be part of it
...never thought it would come so soon, but yes, i was in the land of rising sun! did i just say friends are important? especially make one or two in each and every city would even be better, lol! i was introduced the real and authentic side of Japan by the local Kiyo-kiyo san :) i seriously think that it's 1000X better than to be on a commercial tour; so i'm very thankful. i would never forget the moment when Kiyo took out some notes from his wallet and gave them to me without hesitation when he knew i had no enough Yen with me; so i've learnt to be always nice to people, what goes around comes around :)
...had a luxurious flying experience with Singapore Airline A380, on the Narita-SG route; i exclaimed, "was it the law of attraction??" as i was just reading from the paper about that new route in celebration of 40th anniversary of commencement of services between Singapore and Japan and also Narita Airport's 30th anniversary celebrations. After a month of service, i was on that very plane
...took up my first tennis lesson; so now i've learnt a new skillset and i can play simple games, very simple ones though
...participated in setting up the new franchise business, learnt how much effort and hardwork to be put to operate a business from factory to outlets. All the Best Mr Baoz!
...brought grandma back to her very hometown where she was born, in Guangdong, hence there goes my first China trip. was a total VIP trip for us to be welcomed by a BMW7series at the entrance of the airport in Guangzhou and to be chauffeured around in big cars and vy own driver specially hired for our visit. was fascinated by the way that uncle of mine earns money and impressed by the way he was able to spend the money. that's in many people's dream!
...had built a significant group of goodfriends who share good times & bad times, who lend listening ears & helping hands, who do crazy things together, who are there when you needed them.
